Omg...
Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, its omg... Very crappy!!! >=(
There's A LOT of difference between the book and the movie la!!! Firstly, Poseidon gave the 3 heroes their pearls, not them going on an adventure to find them, and Percy's Flying Shoes fly with the command "Maia", and it was supposed to be a sabotage by Luke such that the shoe would drag percy to Kronos, whereas the movie didnt even include Kronos in it. And Ares was the one who stole the lightning bolt, not Luke. And the Hydra did not appear till the second book. And Percy's mum did not kick Gabe out, whereas she used Medusa's head to petrify Gabe and selling him. And the movie did not include Thalia's tree which is the one who provided the barrier of the camp.
There are plenty more mistakes to point out. But i'm lazy... The movie's characters also surprised me. Like, I tot Percy and Annabeth were much younger, Grover was much shorter and less sick minded, the gods to be MUCH older and Chiron to be less hairy on the head. But seriously, the whole storyline of the movie is SCREWED UP. Ares was the one who started everything, not Luke. And Poseidon didnt claim Percy until he won the capture the flag thing! Zzz. I wonder how the second movie is gonna be. I CANT WAIT to watch how (crappy) it will be.
