Beijing trip

First day, sight seeing around Hu tong. I saw lots of old buildings all around. Took quite a lot of photos. First day did not walk around much so woke up at 4am the next day...Haha

Second day, went to Great wall. Sight was extremely nice. Bought an old watch as a souvenir for my brother. The watch has his favourite comic book picture, "Full Metal Alchemst". The stairs were very steep as I went up the Great Wall. When It was time to get down, it was extremely scary was I could see everything from up there and I felt as if I was falling and flying. Whew....
Woke up at 5.30am the next day..

Third day, went to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. The China people celebrate their National day at Tiananmen Square. Did not see much at the Forbidden City as the name of the place already says that it is FORBIDDEN!!! Haha.. Quite tired today though....

Fourth day, went to Summer Palace and QingHuang Dao. A lot of interesting things I saw at the Summer Palace. The temperature was cooling and it rox at QingHuang Dao.!!!! Met my homestay buddy who became my best friend at China the next day. Took bus home. When got home, after I bathe, I cried while I talked to my mum through handphone as I was homesick. Man!! Gotta get used to it!!

The other days were homestay and school. Parents treated me very well. Brought me to a park to cycle at night. The first day was the best at my homestay. The parents brought me to cycle, skate scooting and badminton. Last day of homestay, they bought me lots of things. Wish I could go there and visit them again.. Man... I sure miss my homestay buddy. He played with me....... Anyway, we still kept in touch through email. Oh yeah! He also cried on the day before I left at night and on the day when i boarded he bus back to Beijing. How touching...sobxx... 9 days just passed so fast... Sigh.. I wonder if he is still crying now... Oh yeah Me and terence were on the China newspaper. My homestay buddy sent it to my through email.. See above.

Book review

This book is about 3 good friends called Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose who are having a great time visiting their friend, Sammi =, the prince of Costra. They swimed, soaked in the sun, and admired the bright yellow yacht that was moored just offshore. But the owners of the yacht are acting a little suspicious. And then there was a robbery on the island. Could there be a connection between the yellow yacht and the robbery? Read the book to find out what will happen. The author of this book is really good. He makes the reader think that he is in the adventure. I have the whole set of A-Z Mysteries though.. I rate ths book 10 out of 5 cause its very exciting. I like mystery books though.. They make me engross in reading but it will just take me 1 hour to finish reading one book. Haha
